Into Me I See

A prayer come true
the day I met you.
With eyes ablaze of a thousand suns
overriding any sense of caution.
So brightly lit from deep within,
beneath the surface of your skin.
What coals of Source stoke this incandescence
that a look too long would threaten blindness?
It all felt worth the risk
just to get a glimpse
of the cause of this effervescence.
The disguise I held onto oh so tightly,
dissolved with desire to merge with your reality.

Into me I see.

Butterflies fleeting quick through my belly.
Another encore of your smile
ignites this soul and sends it soaring
high above the clouds,
never to touch the ground.
Until your breath takes me in
and it all begins again
with the reflection of the great pool,
the One we all swim within.
There I see a familiar face
as time immemorial;
the seed of truth looking out at me
from two wide-open portals.

Into me I see.

Perhaps this a trick of the light?
Yet I blink and there you stand upright
waiting patiently to kiss me.
Timeless passing, vortex happening,
reverence of this sanctity.
A nervous giggle reminding me
of this human being
that holds within a precious song
of the divine embodied.
How soon I swoon once more
upon the grace of meeting
you who reflects the greatest beauty.
I search for reason within your features,
and discover something deeper -
a lasting impression of the ever-after
woven into dreams.

Into me I see.

Peaceful abiding in the
remembrance of a time before
and yet once again beginning.
Words unspoken flow freely,
as trees watch over us celebrating
our entwinement within their company.
I press in close
to the scent carrying the essence of home.
First eyes touching,
leaves a-rustling,
wafting the fragrance
of two hearts drumming.

Into me I see.

I trace your palm lines as my excuse,
to hold a minute longer
the artists’ hands and wonder
how so much luster
seeps into everything they inspire.
Is this real, it cannot be,
‘tis only but a reverie…
Yet, the inner voice speaks,
transmitting plainly:
“Trust in the hands of fate.
All now that comes your way
is a wish you once made,
for the song of Christos-Sophia
to thrive from the placenta
that inspirits love’s orchestra.”
So into the flow I go
and surrender to the unknown.
To let go, release, all that which my heart holds
to protect itself from suffering.
And experience surely a love beyond all knowing.

Into me I see.

You cradle my tenderness, offering me a chance to face
that which binds me with false promises to only keep me safe
and wounds I couldn't seem to shake.
Yet echoes of shadows still linger here,
tucked away within this fear,
that my heart will be crushed
by the weight of "not good enough".
It rings again, the phrase
“Trust in the hands of fate.”
Now’s the time
to redefine
the word broken
to open.
All to make more room,
for the essence of me
to meet the essence of you,
fully, wholly and true.
I am yours to take, you decreed.
No my dear you are always free,
but if you choose to rest in my embrace,
I welcome thee -
To swim in the ecstasy
of our chemistry.
To allow your heart expand out to infinity.
To cherish every cadence of this poetry.

Into me I see.

Spirit bird’s cry opens wide
more than just insight.
Safe to feel.
Safe to heal.
To unravel and reveal,
the facets of the crystalline
searching for eternal liberty.
Your precious gift
of inspiration unhinged
as my whole self screams,
yes, I am all in!
No more beating against a shielded margin,
no more resistance of a perceived intrusion.
I allow the boundaries to fade away,
for the illusion of separation to dissipate,
to weave together with grace and ease,
our tantric dance of intimacy.
